Ladies and gentlemen：
Good evening, everybody! My name is Salvador Suarez, I am from Mexico. Before I was the Director of the Asia-Pacific Business Section of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, nowadays I am the CEO of the Mexican Company GPerspective.
It’s my pleasure to come to Guizhou Zunyi, to participate in this event.
As we all know, there are such beautiful landscapes and rich products in Zunyi, for example: the World Heritage, Hailongtun and the world Natural Heritage, Chishuidanxia.There is a long history for the chili cultivation, with many varieties of great quality.When we set foot on this amazing land, we see world class infrastructure, clear air,green Mountains and its beautiful farms, the clear stream rivers… Chilis are all over thefields. That’s really a harvest scene. People here are smiling and welcoming. All of the above makes me feel deeply pleased with such good scenery and its environment fromGuizhou.

大家晚上好！我是萨尔瓦多（Salvador Suarez），墨西哥人，亚太业务部前墨西哥商务委员会对外贸易主任很高兴来到贵州遵义参加本届辣椒盛会。
久闻遵义山清水秀、物华天宝，拥有世界文化遗产——海龙屯和世界自然遗产——赤水丹霞；辣椒种植历史悠久、品种资源丰富、品质独具一格。踏上遵义这片神奇的土地，我看到这里交通便捷，农房整洁漂亮，山岭郁郁葱葱，溪流清澈见底；田间地头，辣椒遍布，一片丰收景象；人们笑脸迎客、热情友好。这一切让我深切的感受到：生态贵州好风光，生态黔椒好品质！
墨西哥是辣椒的原产地，400多年前传入中国并得到广泛种植，特别是在遵义得到了快速发展，开启了中墨商贸友好交流的桥梁。目前全世界有2／3的国家种植和食用辣椒，食辣人群比重已超过20%，全球辣椒贸易额近300亿美元。随着辣椒功能、用途的不断拓展，全球食辣地域、人群的不断扩大，辣椒的市场将保持持续快速增长。本次博览会搭建起了中国与世界辣椒产业沟通的桥梁，为辣椒新品种、新技术交流提供了平台，必将对促进全球辣椒产业发展起到积极的促进作用。
在此，我对会议的召开表示热烈的祝贺，祝愿大会取得圆满成功。
