When did you come to China? What is the first impression that China left you? Please describe by one sentence.
I came to China in May 2014. I was first impressed by the friendliness and curtsey of the Chinese officials and other people i encountered that day.

Please talk something about what do you feel of Beijing, what is your favorite in here, and what is your dislike?
Beijing is a beautiful city, not only full of interesting places to tour and enjoy but also with friendly and courteous people. In addition, my work programs in Beijing are quite tight as there is plenty of interesting things to do both officially and out of official schedule. I dislike the pollution which gets nasty sometimes but I am happy that the Government has undertaken elaborate strategies to address it in the medium and long term.

Where is your favorite place of interest in Beijing that you have been to?
I love outdoor tours and the “Great Wall” is one of the features that have impressed me. I have visited the place several times and apart from enjoying the hike, I never cease to think how it symbolizes the hard work and resilience of the Chinese people.
Do you have chance to come to contact with the normal Beijing citizens? Please tell us some memorable story.

I have opportunity once in a while to join normal people in walks and ping pong games in parks in vicinity of my residence or meet during tours or exhibitions. Such activities are often concluded by many photo opportunities.

Please introduce your daily life in Beijing; do you have some interesting hobbies? (Such as sing Beijing opera, cook Chinese food, draw Chinese traditional picture)
My daily life in Beijing is dominantly office work interposed by meetings in government and business institutions. I like Beijing Opera and attend performance when there is such opportunity.

What is your opinion towards ‘One Belt and One Road’ program in China?  Which corporate visions with your country are you most looking forward to?

“One Belt and One Road” program is a great initiative by President Xi Jinping and it will serve to advance global economic cooperation and development. My country is looking forward to the construction of the Kenya-Uganda-Rwanda and Tanzania-Rwanda Standard Gauge Railway which is part of the “Belt and Road” project. Once implemented, the project will lead to fundamental economic changes not only in the East African region but also on the continent of Africa as a whole.
