Beijing, August 18, 2025 — With the official opening of its first flagship store in China, Mac Mac—a vibrant new lifestyle sub-brand from the globally acclaimed Sumac Restaurant Group—has made its entry into the Chinese market. Located in Beijing’s international hub of Chaoyang District, Mac Mac introduces a fresh, healthy, authentic and stylish take on Lebanese street food tailored to the rhythm of modern urban life.

 The opening ceremony coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, a global development strategy launched by China in 2013, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and fostering economic cooperation. The event brought together a diverse group of guests, including government officials, diplomats from the Arab world, international business leaders and culinary enthusiasts. Through an immersive blend of cuisine, culture, and conversation, the celebration showcased how food can serve as a powerful bridge between regions and people.
